As an investment representative of state-owned
assets, Waefo Diesel Fuel Injection Co., Ltd.
is a large diversified company which possesses
10 branches, 6 wholly-owned subsidiaries, 4
majority holding companies, and has equity interests
in some Sino-foreign Joint Ventures and domestic
enterprises. We principally produce fuel injection
equipment for internal combustion engine used
in automobiles, tractors, ships, construction
machinery and power generators, and also produce
automotive catalytic converters, automotive
air-conditional systems, hydraulic elements
and various springs. And besides, we are also
engaged in the operation of auto parts, real
estate, etc. From the first local-made nozzle
in 1958 to the common rail system with a high
pressure of 120MPa in1999 we have achieved a
sustained development for near half a Century.

For
automobiles or marines, ships or trains, for construction
machines or generators, where there is a diesel
engine there is a fuel injection system. We have
the right products for every application. Our
main products are the Type A Pump, AW(S) Pump,
VE Distributor Pump, Type I Pump, IW Pump, PW
Pump, Single plunger Pump, injectors, nozzles,
Pump elements and delivery valves. They cover
23 series and over 400 varieties. They can be
used for the diesel with 75-135mm cylinder bores
and with speed up to 4000r/min. Some products
are suitable for heavy diesel engines. |

Being
multi-cylinder in-line pump, PW Pump is similar
to P Pump while its mounting connected sizes are
equal to those of A Pump. It principally adopts
the design of integrated pump housing, more powerful
camshaft &bearings and integrated upper-flanged
plunger holder. It has diversified isopiestic
& isometric delivery valves and variable speed
or maximum-minimum speed mechanical governors
to choose. Besides, PW Pump is also the optimal
selection to meet current stringent exhaust emission
legislation for medium-duty engines. |

IW
Pump is the most ideal product for the new generation
high speed DI diesel engine. It integrates the
closed profile, mounted flange, front governor
cover and pump housing into an integral structure,
which greatly improves the whole rigidity. This
kind of configuration makes the pump capable of
enduring extremely high injection pressure to
satisfy the power producing characteristics, economy
and low emission of the engine. IW Pump introduces
the mechanical centrifugal governor whose sensing
parts are flyweights. The lever ratio of the governor
is alterable and its operating counter force is
small. It can be used for various high speed diesel
engines whose cylinder bores are under 102mm. |

The
Electronic Controlled Distributor Pump carries
out fuel delivery & distribution through the
reciprocating rotation of the single plunger.
Based on the principle of the original mechanical
distributor pump, it controls the fuel delivery
sliding part & timer by ECU, which realizes
the flexible control for fuel injection time &
quantity. This kind of pump has the state-of-art
level to meet the requirements of the EURO¢ñ/EURO¢ò
emission standards and energy saving etc. It can
be used for the diesel engine of the passenger
car, medium-size & small-size bus and light-duty
truck. |

& Technology |
Under
the strategy of "revitalizing enterprises
through science and technology" we have built
up a good hard and soft environment for technical
center. With advanced equipment and high technology,
we have achieved a steady and sustained growth
in terms of indexes for more than twenty years,
and in recent years we have invested RMB 230,000,000
in technical upgrading based on previous investment.
Our technical center was valued as the State Level
in 1999 and a Post-doctor Research Working Station
has been built up, which is engaged in the research,
development and application of new technology.
In the year of 2000 we were valued as an industrialization
base for the State High-Tech Research and Development
Plan Results by the State Ministry of Science
and Technology. During the period of the Ninth-five
Year Plan we completed Key CIMS Application Engineering
listed in the State 863 Plan. There are 334 engineers
and technicians including 35 masters and 4 doctors
in our company, and besides many doctors are willing
to enter the post-doctor working station. |

and examining equipment and supported by high
technology, our products are of high quality. |

| Research
& Development |
Our
attention is always focused on providing customers
with high-quality products and services. After
we successfully developed IW pump and PW pump
applied to diesel engines in line with Europe
I Emission level, the 3rd generation of our products,
including electronic-controlled fuel injection
equipment and common rail system have also achieved
parts results. By cooperating with many research
institutes even the famous Southwest Institute
of America in project development, we have successfully
completed the development of electronic-controlled
VE pump a state key project organized by the State
Ministry of Science and Technology through combination
of production, schooling and research. And meanwhile
we also acquired rich experience in this regard
by keeping close tie with international authorities.
As early as 3 years ago we began research on nano-technologies
and built up Waefo New-Material Application and
Development Department in which 3 doctors majored
in material are researching on new material for
our products. Nowadays nano-technology has been
successfully applied to production with good effects. |
